Hellenic Centre for Arts in Public Space / Motus Terrae
The Hellenic Centre for Arts in Public Space aims to highlighting the importance of art’s presence in public space. Its main task is to create such conditions in which domestic artistic creation in public space would be developed, as well as, to introducing the multidimensional nature of this specific performing arts sector, towards the Greek audience.
In parallel, promoting collaborative cultural projects with a clear focus on social and political aspects, the Centre orients its interest in creating conditions of substantial collaboration and partnership with the citizens, aiming at a direct and equal dialogue between artistic dynamics and citizens, through focusing on the public space and its use.
The Hellenic Centre for Arts in Public Space is a structure of Motus Terrae, a civil nonprofit cultural organization which operates in the field of art in the public space since 2008.
